Hello, my name is Lesley Maddox Johnson! I was born in Nashville, TN and have since then moved seven different times. I now call home Birmingham, AL. I am currently a senior at Auburn University. I graduated from Auburn High school in 2016, then chose to further my academic career at Auburn University. I can agree with George Petrie's wise words, "I believe in Auburn and love it."
I will receive a Bachelors degree in Apparel Merchandising, as well as a business minor. Auburn's Apparel Merchandising program is ranked #3 nationally, and #1 in the South. I am a punctilious student and employee with great interpersonal skills. Auburn's Apparel Merchandising program has taught me incredulous amounts of valuable information such as forecasting trends, how to observe businesses annual sales, and intricate details about fabric and yarn content. I have not only obtained valuable knowledge, but been given the opportunity to explore my creativity through visual merchandising and creating my own marketing strategies for companies. Going into college I was unsure of what I wanted to do, and my parents always encouraged me if you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life. I am so thankful that throughout my four years at Auburn I've found my perfect fit.
Throughout college I have been employed and volunteered for many organizations. My heart is to always leave things and people better than I found them. I find purpose in not only being a college student, but serving in my local church and giving back to our community. In my spare time I enjoy reading with a cup of coffee, walking my dog, and spending time with friends and family! My expected graduation is August 2020. War Eagle!
